WE ARE FITFLOP. WEAR THE SHOES. RULE THE WORLD. At FitFlop, we believe that when your feet feel great, you feel like you can do anything. In 2006 FitFlop founder Marcia Kilgore set her mind on a mission – to create the most comfortable footwear in the world. Collaborating with two British biomechanists she created a triple-density MICROWOBBLEBOARD midsole, and launched it in our first FitFlop sandal. Over twenty million pairs have been sold since we first started making shoes. (And we’re repeatedly told – by happy customers – that we make the most comfortable footwear in the world.) Our patent-pending, original MICROWOBBLEBOARD midsole technology fuses three diagonal sections of multi-density EVA into a single, seamless, underfoot platform to help absorb shock, diffuse underfoot pressure, and make your feet feel amazing!

When I was reading the reviews before purchasing I didn't see anyone mention the weight of these clogs. Just looking at the pictures I was concerned they might be heavy. But no, no they are not. They are as light as any shoe would be.
The thing I like the best so far about them is they give such a secure and stable feeling to your steps. You would be hard pressed to "turn an ankle" in these babies -- unlike the Danskos I also adore as one of the few shoes I am able to wear since foot surgery on the right. In that vein, I am supposed to wear a 2E as prescribed by my foot surgeon, so I thought I'd see if I couldn't fudge it with these. They are amply wide for my feet, and the in-step side of the toe box is quite straight. Another challenge I have since foot surgery is finding a toe box that doesn't curve back in towards the in-step too much, and these most certainly do not.
I'm a Prime member, so I ordered these and the Lounge Deluxe Slipper -- sending back those that I prefer less. Unless the Lounge slippers clean the toilets, I can't imagine them beating out these Gogh clogs. But we shall see...
Order a size up too, btw. I usually wear an 8 (especially in a 2E), but ordered the 9 in these clogs. Perfect!
My first time wearing these shoes would circumstantially and unexpectedly result in a 3+ mile walk. I couldn't believe that when I sat down at the end, I didn't have one blister. Not one pain. Not kidding. Sure, my legs were tired. But, it's crazy to think that someone could wear a brand new pair of shoes, walk 3 miles, and not have one blister, or anything!
Needless to say, these shoes have already carved out a warm place in my heart, and I'm very happy to have them. I'm also happy that I happened to be wearing them at the time.
My only complaint is that there are no 1/2 sizes. So even though I normally wear a 7.5, I ordered an 8. The 8's are a little big on me, but they were fine enough for my 3 miles. And I have been compensating for the large size with thick-ish socks. No problemo.
This is one pair of shoes that I will buy again if/when they wear out.
UPDATE: It's now been 2 years since I bought these, and they are holding up like magic. I only wish I could have kept track of how many miles I've put on these things. They are my go-to shoes, and still in great shape and just as comfortable as they were on Day 1. They are a delight to wear while traveling, especially at the airport, because they slip on and off so easily, and they're so comfortable. They were awesome when I had some minor surgery and bending over to tie shoes was simply not an option. I'd venture to say this is the best shoe investment I've ever made (and I've bought a lot of shoes in my time. :) )
