About the Author
Bobby Whisnand is a fitness professional, keynote speaker and author who has spent nearly three decades using his knowledge, expertise and Texas-sized energy to keep the ''fit'' in fitness.
Endorsed by doctors, surgeons and other specialists across multiple disciplines--including cardiology, orthopedics and physical therapy--Whisnand has helped more than 7,000 patients with chronic conditions exercise safely and effectively.
Whisnand has multiple certifications as a personal trainer, elite trainer, and specialist in both exercise therapy, and sports nutrition. Additionally, he has completed two, year-long physical therapy internships and holds B.S. degrees in psychology and biology, and created multiple corporate wellness programs.
As a keynote speaker, he has given over 500 presentations on health-related topics and has spoken on behalf of the American Heart Association-Dallas at over 60 events. His abstract, ''Built in America: Making wellness fit for life!'' was published in the 2017 Journal of Obesity and Eating Disorders.
