I've read both College Dialogues books now, and I can say even as a senior in college, the information is still pertinent. These books are not just for high school graduates/soon-to-be college freshmen. Anyone could use these lessons in everyday life, including yourself. Plus, the Chief is funny, sincere, and cares deeply about those he encounters, even if it for a few minutes on the doorstep of a party.
Ian Thomas Malone has created a highly realistic atmosphere that answers our burning questions about college and the world beyond. Get a copy for your high school graduate, they'll thank you later. Malone also has another novel out soon - Courting Mrs. McCarthy - which will be release Tuesday, June 9th, 2015. I cannot wait to read it.
In one conversation, he gives this advice:
It's a start.
A start to what?
Everything. Growing up. Letting people in. Decisions have ramifications. Never take them lightly.
Mr. Malone has done another outstanding job of giving college students insight into a very important step in their development. I would recommend this as a go to for anyone needing a helping hand in a challenging but rewarding environment. 5 stars.
Having already covered Ian Thomas Malone’s A Trip Down Reality Lane, I jumped at the chance to review his most recent book, Five More College Dialogues. I was not disappointed. Full of comedic moments, life lessons, and plenty of beer pong – FMCD is a light, yet entertaining, read. It was well-written, with a highly developed lead character and a fluent dialogue pattern. Whether you attended college and are looking to relive your glory days, you’re in college at the moment or you just want a good giggle, you’re sure to enjoy Five More College Dialogues.
