About the Author

There’s an old saying that goes something like this. “If you don’t know where you’ve been, you can’t know where you’re going.” And this brings me to my fascination with all things historical that make me want to write about history as though I once lived it. From medieval times, to Charles Dickens England, to the early twentieth century in America and picket wielding suffragettes, and to the people who endured the Great Depression and on down the line, I bow to their endurance. My husband Ty and I enjoy living in the state of Oregon, and have a daily view of gorgeous Mount Hood. Please immerse yourself into my world of historical fiction and enjoy. Who knows, maybe you will find where you have been. Mercer Addison
