About the Author
Elaine Viets is an Agatha and Anthony Award–winning author who also writes the Dead-End Job Mystery series. She was also given the key to the city of Maplewood, Josie’s hometown. Her mother was a mystery shopper in Elaine’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Elaine has served on the national boards of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. She lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with her husband, reporter Don Crinklaw.

I do agree that while the murderer is revealed at the end, the actual details of the how are sketchy. However, I don't think that truly interferes with the enjoyment of the story, especially not the removal of a star in the rating.
There is also a side story with Amelia being cyber-bullied. Amelia seems to have inherited Josie's gene for getting to the truth.
Like I said, I always have fun reading these stories. They are a great escape and this one took me exactly where I had to go. There is humor and of course mystery but there is also a great family base. I can't wait for the next episode!
