I purchased two of the FixnZip replacement zipper sliders. I used one on an very good old leather bomber jacket and the other on a winter coat. Both coats have plenty of life left in them, but the zippers broke. These repair zippers are great because you can loosen the screw on them, get them pretty easily on the coat, then tighten them down. Over time, the zipper slider may loosen a bit, but you can just tighten it down again. This is what it better than the original. Over time, the metal on the original would bend, weaken, and eventually break. Because these screw down, you do not have that problem.
They work really well. I am very happy that I can continue to use these coats for a long time.

The Real Deal
I was able to repair my tournament jacket thanks to this zipper kit. I was a little reluctant to buy it at first but I checked the reviews and watched the tutorial video and my God the ease of use is remarkable!!!!! Bought the three pack because I didn’t know which size would fit, but it turned out medium was the coreect size. And it doesn’t stand out as much as I initially thought. Anyone looking for a new zipper to save any apparel they don’t want to have to waste, then this is for you. Here are some pictures of my jacket with the medium zipper.

Worked great on a heavy duty duffel bag

Hardest part was cutting off the old slider. This was a tiny bit fiddly to install - but once on, works perfectly. Saved having to spend the thick end of 100 quid to replace the bag.
Only improvements I'd suggest - make a heavy duty version that has a bit more meat where the pull toggle attaches and in doing so supply a stronger split ring.
Very pleased.
