Then a plastic bushing inside the nozzle broke and fell out, and it could no longer get a gas tight seal to the line going to the grill, making it useless.
Emails to Flame King requesting replacement or assistance were ignored, so customer support gets a one (zero) star rating too.
Flimsy unreliable useless waste of money.
Well, no more! This thing is great, and it has an emergency flow controller.
It's very easy to install, with one caveat that you might want to consider before you purchase one. The device itself is about 4 inches long. So if you add it as an intermediary between the tank itself and the hose. Now, if you have a small grill that encloses the tank, this might be a little challenging in repositioning the tank so that you can still close the door(s) to the tank holder. It's not that difficult, but can take a little fiddling. And if your tank is only positionable at a certain way, you may not be able to satisfactorily position the tank so you can close the door with the device installed.
This shouldn't be a big deal in most cases, but I just thought I'd warn ya.
All in all, this is a must-have!
The weight scale based guages work very well and are an accurate measure of the amount of propane left. Best solution is to have a spare cylinder.

Still works after several years. Once the gauge hits yellow, you have minutes of propane, not hours- FYI.Published 2 days ago by William P Krzewick
