Terrific book - thank you Mike and Catherine! Poor follow-through by the Joel Marion support team. The Joel Marion sales pitch referred to "SEVEN bonuses valued at over $200" and "Note: Instructions to gain access to the bonuses are included inside the new updated book once your order". There's a flag on the upper left corner of the back cover that says "See Inside For Your FREE BONUSES!" but so far I've found nothing else that refers to the bonuses. My several emails to the Joel Marion support/tech team requesting assistance in accessing these "bonuses" remain unanswered. I'm delighted to have Mike and Catherine's book, but the bonuses were the added incentive to order the book, so I'm very disappointed that so far, they appear to be unavailable.

Mike Geary and Catherine Ebeling have brought us a wonderful book about a very important and much ignored topic: food quality.
This is not a diet book. This is not a vegetarian book. The reader is not told to count calories or keep specific foods out of his or her diet in order to look slim. The policy of The Flat Belly Kitchen is quite the opposite: everything good in moderation, with the word “good” underlined. Twice.
Geary and Ebeling make a very convincing argument in pointing to artificial food as a main cause of flabby stomachs and bad health. While overeating is certainly an issue, many of us have discovered that even a seemingly balanced diet may lead to a less-than-desirable weight/body shape. The reason, according to the two authors, is fake or unneeded additives to food.
This book features exercise routines, yummy recipes, food buying tips, and a surprisingly thorough review of human food consumption in history. A great read!

The Flat Belly Kitchen is both a diet and cook book in one. The beginning half of the book tells readers how they should first establish their own healthy lifestyles and explain what types of food are best for your body and why. Mike also details a workout plan in order to maintain a physical workout schedule in conjunction with the eating habits presented in the earlier chapters. While these sections were helpful, the part I liked the best was the section of different recipes included that actually combine all of the previous tips about healthy eating into easy-to-prepare recipes. They cover all meals of the day, from breakfast, to lunch, dinner, snacks, and even desserts. Having a guide that actually puts all of the information given to the reader into action is a very helpful way of showing that healthy foods can be combined into so many different delicious creations that don’t have to be boring health food.

I am a two year ovarian cancer survivor and had to have my colon removed as well. I have had to relearn what to eat and not eat. Choosing the correct foods is a learning process. Thanks to this book I am eating better than I ever have! I feel great and the 8 pounds I've lost so far are just an added bonus! I refer back to this book constantly to stay on track as I'm learning more about my body and digestive system. Thanks Cat and Mike!

A friend of mine recommended that I grab a copy of The Flat Belly Kitchen. I was reluctant at first, because I already have over 20 books on nutrition and fat loss. It seemed that the more I read, the more I got confused. But for only $2.99 and with a friends recommendation I decided to grab a copy.

After reading the first few pages I was HOOKED! It was a rainy day and my wife was gone for a few hours and I opted to read this book cover to cover over watching one of my TV shows.

It was the most direct, simplest and easiest to understand book on nutrition I have read and I particularly like the pleasant blend of information and recipes. Plus, it's less then 3 bucks, which is 1/5th of what I payed for each of the other confusing books in my library.

If you aren't sure about it, give it a shot... you'll end up EXTREMELY satisfied!

This was an easy read and chocked full of good information regarding our current food process. We have since started buying only grain fed meats and have been buying free range eggs for a while now. I want to try raw milk again. I had it when I was younger from my grandfather's cows but had a hard time with the scraping of fat off the top. The cooking grease was very interesting. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. However, don't be fooled with the title. You will have to do an extreme workout along with eating the best foods(no additives, chemicals or words that you can't pronounce). If you're up to the workout then you will succeed with weight loss.
