At eight inches length and 3/32 inch height, these easily fit in the gap of a typical double pane apartment window, closed. There is enough flex and length, after install, to bend the extra section downward and tack it neatly. No wire fray or air leaks even past this cold Northeastern winter. The connectors still look fine--TV channels all work and no signal degradation. Like other thin cables of this type, jamming it every time a window closes impacts longevity, so better to install it at a less active location. But for this moderate jammer, so far so good.

I live in an apartment. Management does not permit any holes to be drilled through the outside walls. Therefore, I used this jumper to pass (underneath the sash) the DirecTv cable through a double-hung window. I do not open of close the window very often, so this works o.k. I have had an issue with the wind causing the jumper to break. My fault as I did not have it anchored (outside) as it should have been. Fortunately I bought two extras (low price) so I had an instant replacement. For the money, this is a decent product and works with no signal loss.

I've used various iterations of this type of product for years...this variant is as good as any other I've had.
The outer white jacket is quite thick but it easily conformed around the closed window and even the screen.
The units I received had this outer white jacket encroach on the connectors ...which turned out to be a good
thing since it provided some weatherproofing. In any case could be easily trimmed if needed.
My application was to get the lead-in for a FM antenna through the window of the rental house I'm in.
This did the trick and at under $4 for a pair from Amazon you can't beat it. Arguably not the most demanding application
but the windows are only a few years old and close very tightly so the fact this worked as well as it did is a testament
to its quality design.

Another reviewer mentioned using these to get the signal from a satellite dish into the house. I would use caution
with this application...most satellite systems also send a DC voltage down the cable to power the electronics out at the dish.
Not knowing how these are insulated inside the white sleeve it is possible to have a short circuit which could damage the receiver.

I had a DB2 UHF 2-Bay Bowtie antena for my 60' HDTV. Since I didn't want to drill a hole through the thick brick wall. I settled with the compromized solution of setting it up indoor on a tripod. However, the reception was always unstable and prone to the movement of people around the house. It drove me crazy and felt that my DB2 is not good enough. I always thought of getting a different antenna which might give me a better result.

A month ago I found out this flat coaxial cable and decided to give it a try. Since I have a "single hung" type of window (5 feet away from my TV), I always have doubts that this thing can even survive the "squeeze". To my surprise, I was able to tuck this flat cable under and to close the window. The signals I receive now is "night and day" comparing to my old indoor solution. Not only I can get many of UHF channels which I couldn't get it before, I can now even get the VHF (ABC). There is definitely a hugh difference between "outdoor" and "indoor" reception, although it is only a wall apart! If you are like me, don't blame on your existing antenna. Use one of this flat cable and put the antenna outside. You would be surprise the difference!

I lived in an apartment and I needed to put my antenna outside to pick up a better reception. I ran a cable outside of my sliding glass door with this flat coaxial and it worked perfectly. I could also regularly open and close the door with out a problem because I was able to shape the connector to the contour of the door frame. There was also a little bit of sticky tape on the back to help keep it in position so it won't move around as much.

Good idea, poor execution

I needed to run a cable through my window to an antenna and thought these would be perfect. When I opened the package, I could tell they weren't the best quality cables, but I decided to hook them up anyway. The first cable must have been broken inside because it didn't work at all. The second cable did work, but my antenna signal coming through this cable was so weak that I couldn't watch anything without it cutting out constantly. I finally replaced these cables with a better quality cable that I found here on Amazon and now I can watch 45 channels without any interruptions. I will be sending these back soon!

These window adapters allow me to run coaxial cable in the window and still allow the window to close and lock. And the white sort of blends in with the window sill Very happy with these so far. The reason I gave these 4 stars is I feel the exterior plastic sheath is a little thin and may wear through in time. If it doesn't, then I will update to 5 stars.
