This is not insta-love, but the attraction is definitely flaming. Presley and Keaton stole my heart! I loved how this book unfolded. It is not light-hearted, but it is not heart-wrenching either (even though I definitely had a few tugs on my heart while reading), it is just right in the middle!" -GA Books Lover

Gosh, I couldn't put this book down for even a second. Fleeting was so much more than I expected, it left me so in love with these characters, the story, and the author.
This was a story about life, giving life AND a chance, it was about risks. Presley was amazing, she is always scared to making a permanent decision, she is over being the family disappointment and just wants to be happy and at peace for once. So when she goes to visit her grandmother to help her out, the last thing she expects was to fall in love with the people, the town, and the towns veterinarian.
Keaton is there for his family no matter what, he works and helps. That is what he does, what he is okay with doing. Keaton has a big heart, he puts everyone before himself and it hurts my heart because he deserves the best. So the last thing he saw coming was to fall for the new girl in town who isn't planning on staying.
These two were perfect, their first encounter was so funny. These two needed each other to realize that they matter, they are capable of finding love, and they are capable of change. Presley helps Keaton see that it's okay to be selfish sometimes and put himself before others. Keaton helps Presley see that if you don't take risks then you will never be truly happy.
These two were PERFECT!!! This story was PERFECT!!! I cannot wait for the second book in this series, I am so curious to know ore about Keaton's brothers and their stories.
I fell so in love with this story. Down on her luck Presley, with no real intentions in life and headed no where fast, comes to help out her grandma for a bit. Straight laced, secure, sexy as hell Keaton is just the thing to tie Presley down. I loved both of these characters so much and the drama was so well planned. I hate love stories where everything just plays out so perfectly and that’s just not real life. There are miscommunication issues and pride issues and personality differences and Carrie Aarons writes that masterfully.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5) I loved the characters and the storylines and the writing so much in this book. In fact, the second I finished this book I immediately picked up Forgiven. I’m not sure how I’m going to handle having to wait for the rest of the Nash brother books but I’m so glad I’ve been introduced to Fawn Hill and it’s residents.
Carrie is one my go-to authors for sweet, wholesome romances and she never lets me down.
Fleeting is the perfect start to her newest series and I love every bit of it.
The blurb gives you all that you need to know, so there is no point in me re-hashing that. And I won't give you any new details either.
Carrie sets the tone and plot perfectly for this series with this book. We meet each of the brothers and get a little bit of background on each of them to know what we can expect in coming books, but it doesn't pull away from Keaton and Presley's story.
I love the small town vibe she sets up and all the nuances that go on in small towns. Along with the brothers, the secondary characters add the perfect touch to this series and I cannot wait to read more about them all.
Carrie nailed this book perfectly and set off the rest of the series the right way!!

A beautiful introduction to the Nash brothers and those they love 💘 .
Just off to start Bowen & Lily's story in Forgiven.
This book gave the feel of cosiness, sense of love, family and that extra energy for life, and was a long that I felt like that from a book series.
Keaton is a perfect guy, the oldest son, has his life all planned out, but took one look at redhead Presley and everything changes, and he doesn’t know how to deal with that, she messes with his plans.
Presley came to small town to her grandma when she needed the most, didn’t expect to find Keaton good boy Nash; her feelings are all over the place, she never been in love, and doesn’t understand her attraction at all.
They love story left me anxious because life can be such a b# to us, I cried for Presley, I felt like her, left on the side, forgotten, and I thank God for my grandma every day, she was the best, like Presley grandma.
I can’t wait to read about the Nash brother; I bet it will be epic!
All the stars.
