First You cannot read this Book without reading books 1) Sin With Me and 2) Angels Fall. so if you are reading this Don't, Stop go back and start with book 1.
Book # 3 "Flesh Into Fire"...well its exactly as it sounds Dramatic with Lots and Lots of action and the "Results of Fire" So of course we start this book picking up from book #2 Angels Fall which ended so dramatically. We open with Maddie and Tyler having to deal with the fall out of everything that happened that night at the Strip Club. So we watch them deal with Mourning Together, but of course Maddie believes its all her fault and we now know how Maddie reacts, a girl on Fire, not always using her brain muscle. And we have Tyler the over so want to be Fixer. But as you will see, not everything can be fixed Alone.
Maddie has dealt with so much guilt in life and now Has the dealings with the Carlos head of the drug cartel whom insists she owes him, a deal was struck and she is refusing to allow Tyler whom could easily pay of any debt but would the debt ever be paid? With Carlos I say No. But I didn't quite see things come together the way they do in this book. With the shocking end to book 1 and 2, this book is just dealing with tons of stuff and its all over. The thoughts in these two peoples heads they we get to be privy to I LOVE! Being in a lot of person as it had been it lets us exactly what they are feeling all the time.
Your going to get Mad as all get Out, your are going to think what the Heck A Lot!!! You might be disappointed and Your going to Cry! Yoru going to see the Passion that burns between these to come to a head and even though they have resigned to loving each other, this time they realize They Need Each Other and if things are going to end then go out with a Bang and Being with the one you are suppose to be with, not some freaky Carlos who loves the idea of having Maddie!
And before you know it these two characters come to a point were they are actually thinking exactly alike, wishing for the same things when not together, remembering the same things and actually praying for it to HAPPEN!
And of course this winds up coming all together to another huge explosive end! And by the end you'll be clenching your chest, wondering can this be happening NOW?
Julie A Huss and Johnathan McClain have pulled off a wonderful series here, we become so wrapped up in these characters that again WE NEED The Next Book NOW! They did such a great job of getting us from A to Z and then it feels we go back to A will we eve get to the Z and stop climbing the walls of Struggle called Life. The fallout from Carlos and getting to meet him and see that world a little but is scary and tense but also the fight that I think Maddie Needed, she needed the purpose of doing something right in trying to take him and Logan down and in that process does she find that he might have a soft side, it appears that Yes he does, but is that real. And Logan, what a real piece of work!
I just want to get to Peace, will we get to that, can these Soulmates that have endured so much In Life be able to come together and actually learn to Work Together. We will continue to have obstacles because I just think this isn't over just Yet...I can only hope they get the happily ever after they so deserve, Next Time...if only "The Time Is Right!"
So if some reason you have missed this series Jump in and get caught up because in another 2 weeks or so The Last Book will be on our Kindles probably breaking us down a bit, just to build us back up again, while also continuing to give us some fabulous Sex Scenes...that is so HOT! The Beach Scene is just WOW and not only because of how hot it is but what is BECOMES TO THEM!!!
Get It NOW!
Then we have the bad guys, I’m talking really, really bad. Carlos is the perfect villain, smooth and deadly in every way, he can go from suave to psycho in a matter of seconds. Logan is his dim witted side kick and just as dangerous, maybe even more so, because he doesn’t know how to work it like Carlos. Logan wears his badness on his sleeve which oftentimes gets him in a whole lot of trouble.
So bottom line, we have our two heroes, with a supporting cast of one (Ricky, read the book and you’ll understand why I crushed on him) taking on the two villains who, by the way, had a supporting cast of lots of villains. This formula makes for an exciting and romantic romp that will have you laughing as you look danger right smack dab in the face.
Now there’s the EOBS (End of Book “Stuff”). This one was deep. I’m talking “deep as a well” deep. Johnathan shared and bared his “stuff”. I had a lump in my throat. I had blurry vision. And at the end I had happy tears because his “stuff left me with lots of hopeful feelings. While Johnathan left me glowing and full of hope, Julie’s “stuff” saved me. She taught me that sometimes getting revenge for a wrong against you is to...... On second thought I can’t tell you, I don’t want to tell you because what Julie taught me might be different for you. You’ll have to read it and then we can compare notes. Let’s just say, once again Julie came through for me, she opened my eyes to a new prospective, she was my salvation.
