I have owned 6 of these so called Flexi-Hoses in the past and they all failed within a few months of usage. Believe me it was not due to misuse by me. I swore I would never purchase another one. Well here I am back in the saddle again. I read the specs on this one plus the comments and decided "ONE MORE TIME" I received it about 10 days ago and immediately put it to use on my deck. After inspection of the hose and usage I feel that this hose is IMPROVED. It is more rugged on the outside and seems to be more heavy duty than the previous purchases of different hoses. I am keeping my fingers crossed blut I feel this one may be the real deal....We will see...

Sad. I loved it. Purchased in March of this year. I liked it so much I purchased another to add to it... I loved everything about them. Then, a couple months later, the one attached to the spigot developed a bad leak. Worse than the video here. I removed it and attached the second one (and even purchased a flexible extension for the spigot to supposedly minimize the flexible hose’s likelihood of developing a leak). The video speaks for itself. Shortly after this video was taken, it developed another “misting” leak in the middle of the hose... I need this kind of hose because of physical limitations. I’ll have to keep looking. It’s an obvious design flaw. I think simple engineering could strengthen the hose where it connects to the brass fitting. If they do, I will be the first to try it! I tried a repair kit myself, but it proved too difficult. Sad.

Doesn't last long... Don't waste your money

I've read many reviews about this product as being non durable, and after 10 months of having the it, I can agree.
The fibers surrounding the inner core has become frayed and tethered, and is now leaking in some spots. It still stretches, but as it does, the unexpected holes are increasing in size with every use. It won't be long before I'll have throw this out. I'm not abusive with hose, in fact, I store it in the house when not in use, so it's not exposed to the elements. However, it still managed to degrade and develop a hole. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.. Manufacturer nor the seller will NOT replace the hose, as it is indicated on the package as a "lifetime warranty".

This is my second Flexi hose. My first is 50 ft. I can water my yards with these lightweight hoses even though I use a wheelchair. It does not get tangled and impossible to handle , like a regular one, that gets all stiff after a while. That it is so light, and takes up little space is a huge plus.
I keep it rolled up like a snake in a bowl on my patio, out of the sun, when not in use.
And the lifetime warranty is a huge plus.
I did think it came with a Sprayer Nozzle
and a storage bag like my 50 ft hose.
Why it didn't I don't know.???

Update ::
This has not water pressure, as the inner tube is very narrow. I love handling it.
BUT it took forever to water my front yard. I put a different nozzle on it, but it didn't help.
If you have a large area to water, I would not buy one.

This hose is a godsend . I was so tired of having hoses linking and taking 15 minutes to make it operational again . The brass fitting goes on to the faucets perfectly with no leakage . the on off shuttlecock also works with no leakage . I've tried other flexible hoses but they have plastic fittings . most importantly, it does not kink.I can't speak to the durability since this is a new purchase but the hose itself is thick and appears as if it will last .

Loss of pressure

There are two main disadvantages to this hose: 1) loss of pressure. There is about 40% less pressure than a regular 5/8" normal hose. This is due to the inherent construction of the hose. It has a smaller diameter. 2) When you are done with the hose, you must allow it to drain. This means keeping a nozzle open until it shrinks back. It takes a while (manufacturer recommendation). I would buy a regular hose again; not flex

Update 8/26/2019
I am going to replace it with a regular hose. The pressure and volume is so low that I cannot spray the far parts of my lawn. I'm talking major pressure and flow loss. It takes a long time for the hose to expand and then a long time for the hose to collapse. And the volume is very low. It may be good for watering flowers or some minimalist task.
Believe me, you will agree with me after you use it.

The Best Hoses for RV's!

We bought this expandable hose for use in our RV because space is limited, and it works very well for that purpose. The hose is long enough to reach the faucet at RV parks , and when we are done and head out it compacts down to a tiny size for easy storage. We have had good luck with these expandable hoses, they dont seem to fail, spring leaks, etc... though we dont use them as frequently as we would if they were for home use.

Busted Seams at Six Months

Bought this for light use in the garden. It is pretty nifty how it expands and collapses. However, at six months and two weeks the hose is busted at the seams near the connection to the faucet end.

It was cool while it lasted. I expected years of use and not months.

The hose is good and flexible but the fitting on the ends make the hose absolutely redundant if you have any kind of normal hose attachments like a pressure washer or a spray gun. The male 3/4” screw doesn’t fit into a pressure washer (Karcher k4) or garden spray gun which means you need to buy a whole variety of converters and adaptors to make it fit anything. This really needs to be much clearer when you purchase it. Good hose but you won’t be able to use it until you buy adapters!

The hose burst with holes in less than two months

I bought this flexi hose less than two months ago.
From the look of it, the hose connection seems to be of a good quality, and it was working fine and I was happy with it, especially that it does not take much room to store.
But in less that two months, suddenly the hose burst and developed holes and starting leaking. Please check the pictures and video.
I am very very disappointed.

Problem with fittings but OK

Hose is good for the application but don't understand why the exit end (the end not fitted to the tap) has a tap thread on it and not a hose thread. You need an extra fitment between the shut off valve on the hose and the spray gun you'd normally fit there. Makes the delivery end a bit cumersome considering the target is for a lightweight product.
