Air Hose Reel Features:
Flexible Hybrid Polymer Air Hose
Flexzilla Air Hose Reels feature hose with zero memory so it lies flat where you drop it. It won’t work against you while in use or rewinding back inside the reel – even in subzero conditions. Its extreme all-weather flexibility is due to flexible hybrid polymer material that redefines flexibility. This hose won’t kink under pressure.
Anodized Aircraft Aluminum Fittings
The fittings are made of high grade aluminum making them more durable. Anodized aircraft aluminum prolongs the life making the fitting outlast the competition.
Adjustable Hose Stopper
The hose stopper is adjustable and allows you to increase and decrease the length of the hose that remains when the hose is fully retracted.
Swivel Mounting Bracket
The swivel bracket allows the reel to swivel freely up to 180°. This allows the reel to move in the direction of your work and enhances your work efficiency.
The air hose reel can be mounted to the wall allowing for convenient storage and to free up workspace.
The air hose reel can also be mounted overhead allowing for a more centralized placement in the shop and convenient storage as well as freeing up workspace.

Other than that, we do like the flexibility of the hose - a lot. I'm not sure if these'll stand up to heavy industrial use, but for our use here at Rocket Moto, we think they'll be fine. I would prefer brass or steel hose fittings rather than the aluminum one's, which are cheaper to make, no doubt.
I recommend taking ten minutes prior to installing the hose reel, adjust the spring tension, and you'll be a lot happier with the product.
Procedure for adding more spring tension:
1. Remove the reel from the wall
2. Place reel on a work bench with lead-in hose side up.
3. Remove all perimeter screws, should be 10. [note: ours have nine screws, plus two for the mounting bracket]
4. Make sure the hose stop is secure between the housing roller pins.
5. Begin to remove the top half of housing (lead-in side), make sure the hose stop stays with the bottom half of housing between the roller pins.
6. Place top half of housing to the side
7. Place one hand on the remain housing piece, grab the hose just above the hose stop with other hand.
8. Remove from between the roller pins
9. Rotate the hose twice, clockwise.
10. Place hose back in-between the roller pins and let the hose stop rest against them.
I wouldn't recommend this for everyday, all day use due to the flimsy wall bracket and plastic case assembly because I don't think it would hold up to that type of use. There are hose reels that sell for hundreds of dollars that can hold up better to everyday use.
The only issue I've had is that it doesn't rewind very well when it is under air pressure, it get stuck at the last 6-8 feet and I have to keep pulling the hose out a few feet and then try to get it to return all the way back in with a little guidance. But, I did find that if I shut off the air to the hose ( I had added a shut off valve near the hose reel to allow me to do this), and then let the air out of the hose it will rewind all the way without an issue.
I guess time will tell how long this will hold up for me over time.
I deducted one star because I have a phantom air leak somewhere inside of the mechanism. I did a soap-bubble leak test on both of the ends and can't find any leaks there but, when this is connected to my air compressor, I'll lose about 10 psi over the course of a week. Disconnected, the air compressor maintains pressure. It's a minor inconvenience to disconnect the reel versus disassembling the entire thing and trying to hunt down a small leak.
