Roxanne Ocampo is a proud Latina mom and author of Flight of the Quetzal Mama. She is the Founder of Quetzal Mama -- a full-time college admissions coaching practice for Latino students. She conducts workshops focused on the "10 Quetzal Mama Principles," college admission strategies, and writing the Personal Statement for college admission and competitive scholarships. The students from her practice have earned national scholarship awards and admission to the most prestigious universities. Ocampo is a doctoral student at UC San Diego, and holds a Masters Degree and Bachelors Degree in English. She is married to Dr. Arturo E. Ocampo - a Civil Rights & Educational Law Attorney.
