Mounted just above my roofline, receiving aircraft just beyond 200 miles away. Nice build quality. Coax is a bit stiff.
U clamps are large (2") I had to get creative with my grey schedule 40 PVC mast. Needs at least 1.5" mast diameter at antenna end. N connector needs waterproofing tape or silicone RTV. None included.

First I wrapped the antenna where the wire connects to the antenna with Super 8 electrical tape to make sure no water would get into the antenna. I live in the city so i am sure there is a lot of interference but it doesn't matter. I can still pick up planes from over 100 miles away.

This antenna was purchased to replace a retractable "radio" style antenna, used indoors. On the previous antenna, I was getting a range of around 75 miles on ADS-B. With this antenna, mounted high next to a window, I'm only getting a range of around 85 miles. It isn't a huge improvement in terms of range. However, the density/quality of data seems better.

I'm satisfied, but a little underwhelmed.
