Product Description

Flip It! is a game that starts out simple and gets more challenging as you play. Exercise your mind and enjoy solving various patterns and puzzles.

In Flip It! you are shown a grid of tiles that are either black or white. Clicking on a black tile will 'flip' the tile to white; clicking on a white square will 'flip' the tile to black. Change all of the tiles white and you've passed that level. It may seem simple, but there's a twist: when clicking on a tile to 'flip' its color, all tiles touching the selected tile's four sides will also flip their colors. Add to that a growing number of squares and patterns per level, and you've got yourself a sophisticated brainteaser.

Try beating your old times, or completing a puzzle with fewer moves. Can you complete all levels with the fewest number of flips?

Worth the 99 cents I paid for it I suppose but I definitely wouldn't pay more than that and after having played it I would think twice about buying it over again if given the choice. I would assume most people could complete all levels of the game within an hour. I was surprised to see that many of the levels seem to be repeats of a previous level (ex. 1 level has 4 squares to turn starting out with the top right turned black and the bottom left turned black, a few levels later you are again presented with 4 squares only this time the top left is black and the bottom right is black...same exact method is used to pass the level only reversed). I wouldn't say that I'd recommend this game to anyone unless you are simply looking for something to entertain you while passing a very short amount of time (like I was) then it's worth a shot, otherwise I'd recommend spending your money on a better game, afterall, Amazon does offer quite a few free games that are really fun...Shuffled Row, Black Jack, and Mine Sweeper just to name a few :)

It was an ok game, but the first several levels were extremely easy, the next few were slightly challenging, but not much, then I got to level ten and it was impossible, at least for me. The game could use more a gradual increase in difficulty. It was entertaining though.

I agree with another poster, this reminds me of the rubiks cube.
I have made it to level 26, and to tell the truth most of the time when I get it, I don't even know how the heck I did. I love this game, it's the one I play the most out of the 13 games I have on my kindle. It can get kinda frustrating sometimes, so I just leave it for a while then go back to it later. It becomes addicting, and it drains the battery on my kindle so now I only play it while it's plugged in.

I'm sorry, I just don't get it yet. I tried the first couple of games on Level 1 and did good. However, later on it got too complicated. I don't have the patience for this game. I believe anyone who enjoys this game has more time to spend with it than I do. I do like games where you match things and I thought it would be similar in a way. Anyway, you might really like the challenge. I might decide later to spend more time learning this game. Right now I don't have the time. I will, however, keep it on my Kindle for future use.

I wasn't overly impressed with this game. For some reason, I was thinking it would be like a more complicated version of the childhood game "Memory". It gets tough pretty quick and personally, I don't have the patience to sit it out. I purchased it for $0.99 on February 25 and have only played it twice since. In my opinion, the free games offered by Amazon are better.

Ok...it is what it is. Simple game that occupied a kiddo in the dentist waiting room before his appointment. Not something played often

I saw this mentioned on a website, so for less than a buck, decided to give it a try.

If you like a puzzle style game, I suggest picking this up. The goal is to flip all of the squares white. Now, the first few levels are pretty easy, but the difficulty ramps up quickly (at least it did for me).

If possible, it would be nice if you could ask for a hint, but I understand why that may not be doable. Also, if you are ever concerned that you made the wrong move, just click the square again, and you will be back where you started.

Do I see this being a game that I play a lot? No, not really. Unfortunately, once you get stuck - well, unless you are really determined, you might never open the game again. But for less than a buck, you don't need a ton of playtime to get your money's worth. Give it a shot, and we'll see what other applications get made for the Kindle.

Also, the ability to track progress for 8 people is nice - amusing names also.

Note - a hint page has been added by the devs out on the internet if you need it [...] I'm not allowed to tell you the website, so you will need to do a search for it, unless a link in game is added.

Thanks!
