However, I wasn't able to fit in the XL (it would not go up past my thighs!). Since this is a one piece, your hips *must* be able to squeeze through the smallest part of the bathing suit. The suit is *not* very stretchy. If you have wide hips or a big butt, this is going to be a problem. I would suggest measuring the widest part of your body and then seeing if you could squeeze into the bust measurement with a few inches added for stretch. The XL is 12 inches wide at the bust when not stretched out (picture attached) and only 15 inches across when stretched out, so I would say you have to have ~30-32 inch hips to fit into it (pictures attached). The XXXL is ~14 inches wide at the bust. Add 2 inches for stretch, and that's a 16 inch bust across, so the diameter of ones hips could be 36 inches, which is exactly what I am and I was able to fit into it.
The XXXL fit very well, although I still barely squeezed into it! :P
Other than the sizing mishap, the bathing suit is gorgeous and is amazing quality. The colors are vibrant and beautiful and it is comfortable. The bottoms are shorts not a regular bikini, as suggested by some of the photos, but I like that.
**Photos: both photos of me wearing the bathing suit are XXXL, the bathing suit on the floor without a measurement is the XXXL, the one that measures ~14 inches across is the XXXL, and the one that measures 12 inches across is the XL. Hope they help!
I'm about 5'4", 110 lbs, with a bra size of 32/34 A/B. I got a size Medium, and I'm very pleased with the swimsuit for the price. I've had this suit for about 8 months now. So far, it's holding up! I was a little worried that it was fragile when I got it, because it didn't feel very well made, but it's been just fine so far (I've also been hand washing it.).
One thing I really love about this suit is that it's flattering up top. I have a small chest and I hate having swimsuits that make me look even more flat chested, but this one actually makes me more confident! I love it.
The print is super cute, and I've had numerous compliments on the suit from friends- they couldn't believe how cheap it was!
I like the skirt too, as it offers a little more coverage. The only part of this swimsuit that doesn't fit as well are the little boyshorts that are under the mini skirt. It isn't quite tight enough on me and tends to give me a little bit of a wedgie sometimes, but it isn't enough to make me stop wearing the swimsuit.
In conclusion, I'd recommend this swimsuit to just about anyone! I love it and the price is great!
I feel a little too much like a blob in it, but that's a body issue separate from this purchase lol. I'm posting a picture I took right when I got it. :)
