Update 2/29/16 - I have two pairs of these - one black, one brown and if I could give it 6 stars I would. Not only do they fit great (and you are the one responsible for ensuring you get the right fit, but Amazon's return policy can make sure you get that), they look great. I wasn't a big boot wearer, but I purchased a pair of very fashionable good fitting cowboy boots and liked the extra heel height and ankle support. I didn't like them for formal or church suit wear. Enter the Duke Boot.
First, make sure you have your foot length and fit correctly measured, second - don't forget this boot fits the ankle and calf above the ankle. So read the review carefully. Third, when in doubt contact the seller. I have found that they are always very helpful in answering questions. They want you to have a good quality shoe just as much as you do.
I comfortably wear a 10 WW in different Timberland dress, casual and Merrel hiking boots.
I ordered Timberland Men’s West Haven Plain-Toe Chukka Boot in black, and earlier, Timberland Men’s EK Kempton Chukka Boot in brown. Both fit perfectly with the Kempton’s being slightly larger and a softer boot. The thicker West Havens need a bit of break-in to soften up. Both Timberlands have large, beefy soles that extend beyond the leather uppers to protect the leather finish from scuffs around boot edges. I now sold on beefier, extended soles that protect the upper leather much better. Extended soles are easy to spot when carefully looking at pictures.
My return went well with a full refund.
Boots are awesome; goes with any type of pants.

I have a vintage version of the same boots. Same size (11d). But it's an 1 to 2 inches short on the ankle. It's much tighter and not nearly as wide on the toe. Read morePublished 26 days ago by Vincent B Reynolds
Like the style but couldn't get my size 12 EEE foot in. Way to narrow. I have plenty of shoe buying experience (I own about 30 pair, mostly Allen Edmonds), and tried these... Read morePublished 1 month ago by Brio

The best! I will always buy Florshine again and again.
