It's a good little product to have I had it running on the drill until the drill ran out of power but after that it seems like it didn't really want to Prime anymore but for those 30 minutes that I had it running full it is raining a lot in a little time Beats having to use a Shop-Vac and then carry buckets up the stairs but it definitely work well I don't know if it's still working people say that oh you couldn't get get it to go up one foot get the water to go up one foot well I made the water go up six feet so I do have to give it that factor honestly if you're looking at him you may want to go with the heavier one

I wouldn't want to use this product all the time, but if you need to pump out a tank or something every once in a while, this will do the trick. I used this to pump about 400 gallons of water from a planter. I tried it on a cordless drill, but the battery died pretty quick. Once you get it primed, it runs fine, although I wouldn't recommend using this for an extended period of time with a cheap drill. I ran the water up on small 3-4 ft length of tube, and out a 100' garden hose. Once I got water in the tube up to the pump, it ran just fine. The water I was moving was muddy and some small pieces of root and gravel - pump didn't seem to mind (although the instructions specifically say NOT to do this). The housing is thick poly-urethane, and looks like you could drop it a few times with no cracks or other concerns.

I left it unattended and there was no more water to pump and it got too hot and burned out but that was all my fault.

Bought this product to transfer liquid from and back into my small tractor tires. It did pretty good for a while and then it just stopped working. I took it off the hose and tried to pump open air and it simply stopped moving the liquid. It would still spin but nothing would come out. Can't recommend a better pump but this one will let you down.

I needed to empty a 30gal oil drum into smaller containers. I went to the hardware store and bought hose adapters and some tubing. It would not pull the oil up and out of the drum until I filled the intake hose almost all the way with oil. After I did that I moved oil pretty quickly. So I would say unless what you are pumping is higher than where you start then it isnt self priming. For the money this was a win. Couldnt get any cheaper. Even if it fails tomorrow it saved me a tremendous amount of time.

so far I have not had the chance to FULLY try this, it arrive the other day when I was out of town. I opened the box to take a look and the first thing that happened was water poured out of one of the ends.
Strike 1. Then I took my cordless drill and hooked it up to the device and it was so stiff it would not turn. My drill struggled.
