This book will inspire your imagination, stimulate your senses and creativity, and as you become engaged in the enjoyable activity of Coloring, it calms you and almost immediately starts reducing your stress level.
I love to use Bic Mark It ultra fine markers to color in this book they come with 36 different colors and a case that is cheap plastic but works well for organizing the markers in color wheel order, the last one below is colored with these.
This book is a perfect addition to your coloring library, a perfect gift for children, college students, or adults who enjoy coloring, and a much easier way to reduce stress than going to the gym.
1.50 Illustrations printed one per page (the back of each page is blank) on light weight, bright white paper.
2. Place a piece of scrap paper behind the page you are coloring and leave until the picture is completely dry. Markers and some Gel Pens will bleed through.
3. For Flower lovers of all ages, my grandchildren both boys and girls love coloring in this book and taking a picture of flowers to Mom,
4. I use this book to teach my Grandchildren basic color theory with a color wheel (available on Amazon) Example :( Using complimentary colors, those across from each other, Red and Green or Blue and Orange or Yellow and Purple, will make the flowers burst off the page.)
5. I love coloring in this book, there is just something about coloring flowers that is soothing, add a flower scented candle and you will be rejuvenated.
The paper is thin so if you use Gel pens or markers you must put a piece of scrap paper behind the picture you are coloring and leave it until your picture is dry OR remove the picture from the book.
For the more intricate designs, I've used the Stabilo 68 & Stablio 88. I've also used Prismacolor Premiers and Crayola Extreme Neons too.
Update: 5/22/15: I've had this book since July 2014 and have only colored two full pages. I don't get to it as much as I wanted to, but it also takes quite a while to finish one page. I think these pictures might be too detailed for me. I'm still not sure about the markers I've decided to use in this book either. I'm using the Stabilo Fineliner markers and they don't seem fine enough. I've considered other options like the Bic but I'm not sure those would be much different. We do have the Sharpie ultra fine pens but those aren't as sharp as the Stabilo. The pages do bleed so I put a manila folder behind the page I'm coloring. I'm not going to knock down any stars because I still think this is a high quality book and I think it's a good value, but since each page takes so long to color I may look at other options in the future. I like to get the pictures finished so I can see it finished and move on to the next.
