My Rotrex supercharged 4 cylinder expels a great deal of exhaust CFMs and decibels with a 3" straight pipe.
In an effort to reduce the noise, a Flowmaster dBX was installed. The result was a significant reduction of noise, but regretfully also an unexceptable amount of horsepower and torque as well. The Flowmaster Pro Series was installed. The noticeable increase in flow, horsepower, and torque, far outweight the minor decibel increase over the dBX.
I will confirm other reviews stating that the black powercoating scratches easily. Yet, it is a muffler, which will be mounted under your car probably never to be seen again.
