Take the performance of your vehicle to the next level with the addition of Flowmaster's new Delta Force Cold Air Intake system for 2009-2017 Ram 1500 Trucks with 5.7L Hemi engines. The Delta Force system contains an ultra-trick looking custom molded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) high-flow intake tube which helps dissipate heat quicker than aluminum intake tubes resulting in a cooler intake charge, black anodized aluminum fittings, high quality reinforced silicone couplers and all stainless steel hardware. Other features include a large diameter 8-layer high-flow conical shaped and serviceable air filter, a custom-fit black powder-coated air dam with attachment brackets to securely mount the system in place and soft bumpers to eliminate any metal to metal contact under the hood. For maximum performance and that iconic Flowmaster exhaust tone, we highly recommend pairing your new Delta Force Cold Air Intake with a Flowmaster exhaust system. Delta Force Cold Air Intakes are NOT Legal for Use or for Sale in the State of California. Made in USA.
From the manufacturer
Flowmaster now delivers the next step in attaining maximum performance & efficiency for your vehicle.
All systems feature ultra-trick looking durable cross-linked polyethylene intake tubes with a large high-flow conical shaped 8-layer cotton gauze air filter ensuring it will trap more dirt/dust particles, or a dry synthetic media filter with an included pre-filter wrap to help protect from excess dirt particles and extend the filter life. Both have Flowmaster logos molded in the intake tubes showing others you’re serious about quality and performance. For maximum performance, mileage and for an iconic exhaust note, we recommend pairing your Flowmaster Delta Force Cold Air Intake with one of our legendary & race proven exhaust systems.

Use a little bit of intuition and common sense when you put this together, and do NOT go directly by the friggin directions because they are not great. I could easily make a video of how to properly do it if Flowmaster (or anyone) is interested in paying me to.
Anyway, I already have the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust (which makes your hemi sound deep and throaty, with more horsies and better MPG in the first place -the way god intended) on my 2016 RAM, now with this intake holy cripes when you do even a moderate pull (around 3k RPM+) you get your hemi to go super saiyan 3 (IF you know what i mean). I haven't been able to check my highway MPG yet, but if it's anything like the last dozen vehicles I've done this to, you'll get a nice little bump.
throttle response is good, engine noise is heavenly, would've given it 5 stars if the funking MAF/temp sensor weren't literally hitler. I guess it's beyond a bunch of engineers to make a twisty female bit like the original (which ACTUALLY means "it would be harder and more expensive to manufacture it the right way, so Flowmaster took the easy way out by drilling a hole and giving you a rubber grommet to figure it out yourself and break your sensor"). They don't tell you you need some sensor-safe lube/grease until you've already got the thing out (and you don't even really "need" it, it's just a suggestion).
The crank exhaust hose probably could've been better executed than some cheap standard hose tubing that costs maybe $2 at autozone. Maybe throw a couple plastic bends in there? It isn't even cut flush at the end, c'mon guys.
Wrapping/packaging was nominal. Nothing else to say really. Can't emphasize enough the horrible directions --Fire that person. One of the pictures of the bolts you're supposed to undo is even flipped the incorrect way, and doesn't show which of the two bolts right next to each other you're supposed to remove for the bracket.
