I would definitely recommand this to any one who has flowtron. you are suppose to setup the flowtron away from your deck, patio, and house. this will do the job.
The pole comes in sections, and if you're going to install all sections of it, be sure to spike the bottom post into the ground the two feet it says to, otherwise it will sway in the breeze. But at the called-for 2 feet, it'll stay sturdy and true.
The title of "security" is a bit of a lie, however. Its "security" is a nut on a j-hook, that's all. Even if it rusted over time and became difficult to remove the nut, with the pole being sectionalized, it's still a snap to just yank at the top of the pole and remove a section of the pole along with the zapper. If you're REALLY concerned about "security" I'd recommend putting some sort of sealant between the sections so that it can't be removed so easily.
But we ARE talking about a pole for a bug zapper here, so is there REALLY a need for such security? I would hope not.
In the end, this is the best accessory I've come up with for hanging my BK-80D zapper the required minimum 25' distance it calls for, and would recommend it to anyone buying a zapper as well.
