Pink Floyd is one of my favorite band. I just drank half bottle of this while "Time" was playing in my speaker, the flavor is okay. When I got my wine delivered by UPS, the wines were hot!!! I believe the high temperature destroyed the flavor. I won't buy wine online anymore, they can't keep them at a proper temperature while transporting.

Aroma: Vanilla, brown sugar, pear and plums (and obviously peeled grapes) among other subtle notes of wet dirt and oak.
Texture: Full-bodied and velvety in texture.
Taste: Sweetness at the tip and the center of the tongue almost immediately encountered by strong sourness on the sides of the tongue. This is soon replaced by lingering hint of sourness and bitter-sweet taste in the center of the tongue. Eventually the sourness dissipates and is replaced by mainly the sweetness of the wine, along with numbing sensation of the tannin in the back of the throat.

All in all, great wine for its price! I particularly like this type of lingering sweetness in wines, so I would rate it 5 stars for its suitability to my palate and cost-effectiveness.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bottles were warm upon delivery September 10, 2014

I was so looking forward to this wine, and when it arrived last night, I was surprised to find the box was very warm (Temperatures here in Florida are extremely HOT) and so was the wine. It was okay and drinkable but I have to wonder if the temperature affected the flavor.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Decent Wine March 14, 2014

My wife is the wine drinker in this family so I got it for her. She said it was better than a table wine and had a good flavor for the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock On with Wines That Rock March 1, 2014
By June B
I have been buying Wines that Rock for many years and was surprised to find on Amazon (and with a slight discount!) I do not actually drink any wine myself, but feed back I have gotten from everyone is this and several of the other wines offered by Wines that Rock are outstanding. And that's not even considering the winemaker offers something very unique and inspired by some of the best bands ever!

I have over the years given my sister & brother-in-law many of the choices and although they said all were very good, their absolute favorite is the Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" Cabernet

Due to weather the wine arrived several days after the promised delivery date. So I'm not sure if it set out in a cold delivery truck or not. The bottles were very cold and I had some concerns about how it may have affected the wine. My initial taste was very unpleasant, however the next day the taste was much improved. I checked on line to see how weather temperatures might affect wine and it did say it could (bottle expanding,etc.). So again I'm not sure if I'm realizing the true quality.
