The book starts with a brief history of fluid art. The history starts with Savid Siqueiros, but unfortunately does not show any of his artwork. I was able to locate his work on internet as I wanted to see what his art looked like to influence so many other artists.
Then the book describes how to set up your own studio, including the safety equipment such as fire extinguisher. I liked that the author included photos of his own studio as well as the price of the equipment.
Finally, the author moves to explaining the technique he uses. The explanations were clear and useful, and the artwork itself is beautiful.
One thing I found a little distracting is that the text of every line in this book is centered, rather than using the traditional type setting technique of filling each line start to end. However, I was enjoying the content and the formatting annoyance was minor.

The reason I gave this book 3 stars is because it reads more like a white paper - notes for a presentation. The entire book took me about half an hour to read. There were photos of Rick's finished art, which is nice. It would be helpful to have more photos from the actual process.
I read this book on my iPhone using the Kindle app. The text was centered and page breaks were inconsistent and sporadic. There were inconsistent gaps in the text making the aesthetic appearance of this book a little distracting. The photos were small and difficult to see.
If you are looking for a short book to use as a quick reference guide while creating your liquid pouring art, this book will meet your needs.
I received this book for free in exchange of my fair and honest review.
I highly recommend this book to whomever has a curiosity of this subject or who may be interested in learning how to pour paint and create some awesome pieces of art. ---- Leanne C.

Rick has taken the time to share with us many hours of work and different ways of trying to get the best out of each 'pour' and the different ways of doing it.
This book is great for those who are just starting to those who want to enhance their skills.
Thank you Rick 😇👍
