I do agree with some that it stuff stinks and the under side of my car sort of smells like A$$ now but it has real staying power and protects well against rust. As a bonus I noticed the neighbors cat doesn’t sleep under my car anymore.
I easily recommend this product and have not been compensated for my review! Though FF if you are reading, feel free to send me some freebies!
I get under it right before winter each year and spray it all down. 2 cans will probably do the whole thing and the 3rd is used for other lawn equipment to winterize it.
There are perhaps 2 drawbacks. but I don't care about either. First, the smell takes some getting used to but goes away pretty quickly. Second, every bit of dust or debris will stick. For my use under the truck and rust proofing during winter it doesnt matter. When I apply the next year there is almost a thing grime protecting the metal when I wipe it off. What is underneath is unblemished metal.
I sprayed down a bunch of my old tool bits that had gotten rusty after stripping off the rust. I'll see if this protects them better than the product I used before.
One thing I will say is, use it outdoors (or at least spray it outdoors, then toss the items indoors after in a cardboard box) the smell is not nice, and I like solvent smells... this smelled like when I mucked sheep stalls as a kid. (For obvious reasons.)
I like the idea behind it a lot, and will up the rating if it holds up to the promise.
Will definitely be buying it again when the time comes. Highly recommend, especially for Toyota owners.
The only down side is the smell, but if it keeps the cancer/rust away no big deal.
