I have to say that that works better than the Flutterby for keeping mascara off your lids

The ridge that runs along the edge right above your eyelashes makes it more difficult than I thought it would. It does help keep mascara from getting on your eyelid, however, I wish it was just smooth.
I have gone back to using one of those cheap false eyelash applicators, the real flimsy ones that come with some false lashes. I open it up until it is flat and use the curved part for the same thing I use the Flutterby for. I have to say that that works better than the Flutterby for keeping mascara off your lids. I am still trying to use the Flutterby just to give myself a chance to see if I get used to it more if I may like it better.

Finally the last eyeliner formula I will ever need

Ladies & gentlemen, I really believe I will never be tempted to “try” another eyeliner again.
Finally, an eyeliner that dries VERY quickly, can be use for every-day eyes without winging it, allows me to put in my contacts AFTER lining my eyes, and stays in place with pigment intacted even overnight in Southern Florida heat and humidity.
I have VERY sensitive skin coupled with numerous allergies that effect my eyes directly. I have NOT had any reaction to this product.
Also, I was concerned about my eyelashes at first, since this formula is so long lasting. I waited a full month before writing this review just for that reason, because I would hate to recommend this if it had harmed me in anyway. I am happy to share that my eyelashes are perfectly fine.
I would recommend dedicating about 15 mins to playing with this liner before you actually use it in your routine. It dries quicker than I imagined. I am picky about my lines matching, so I had to learn how to fix even a tiny mistake with this formula. Just have your thinnest brush and eye makeup remover close at hand. With practice mistakes are in the past for me & does not take any extra time.
This product is so worth spending my earned money on. Even, if the “wing” is to much for you, this formula requires no touch ups. Plus, all the money I am going to save by not purchasing a “new eyeliner” that promises me everything I’ve already found with this formula and dispenser.

They are both very cute but I just can't get enough mascara on my lower lashes when I use them. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I do have very thin lashes so they are hard to coat with mascara. For someone with lots of lashes, it would probably work much better.

These are ok. The ridge at the top actually works against me as my lashes are already naturally curly. I suppose it helps people with straighter lashes get a curl, but mostly these just keep off more mascara than they allow on.

when I first pulled this out of the envelope I was underwhelmed. The Flutterby is a lightweight, small piece of plastic that looks more sturdy in the picture than it feels in the hand. I was so discouraged I went online and spent about 50 more dollars for alternatives because, despite being a dinosaur, I never mastered the mascara wand wiggle. Every single morning I finish my eye shadow application and optimistically pick up the wand, thinking that this will be the day I won't smudge mascara all over my hard work. And, you guessed it, every single day I do. Here's the thing though...today I used this flimsy little doohickey and sweet success is mine! For some reason placing this above the lashes means the mascara goes on without clumping. For sure the plastic is coated but my lashes are fully covered, separated and my eye shadow is intact. Worth the tiny amount it costs. Don't be put off by its appearance. Be honest with yourself. It probably is worth less than a dollar in composition but would you have known how to cut something to this precise shape and with the proper dimensions? I haven't the patience. Would buy again.
