“Fluxions are the mysterious powers that can turn an ordinary person into an extraordinary legend.” Reading this book, I found myself wondering what would happen if science passed the frontier of the science lab. Science is real, and so it's humanly possible. That's the coolest thing ever, but also the scariest!
Having superpowers, or a very beautiful mind, makes you the most powerful man in the world. It’s so exciting and extremely dangerous at the same time. It forces you to decide what kind of person you wanna be... a hero, a legend, or a menace. Then take responsibility for your choices!
This trilogy is full of adventure, astonishing travel, very interesting characters and changing settings. One star short because parts of the plot were a bit too involved.
And don't miss the Appendix! It's revealing.
The fact that this is the first review this book has ever received speaks volumes to how successful this guy is as a writer. His writing is so original and creative that the titles of his three "novels" (which really novellas) are "First Name Basis," "Second to None," and "The Third Degree." You'll only need one guess for which novella is the first, which is the second, and which is the third. Nothing speaks of originality like using such overused sayings as your titles.
If this guy ever writes a new book, it'll probably be called something like "An Arm and a Leg," "Break the Ice," or better yet, "Back To the Drawing Board."
Last but not least, $9.99 for a kindle version? Are you kidding me? My advice: stop ranting so much about how other authors need to improve their craft and try taking some of your own advice for a change.
