I love Fly Guy books. This one is no exception. I work with third grade readers who are struggling. They need something not too difficult to read, but cool enough for their age. They would feel silly reading babyish books, these are funny and charming! Love them!

A great introduction to chapter books without the length of chapter books. These books are fun and silly and my 3 year old son loves them. He has them memorized word for word, actually. I see these being the books he learns to read with.

Fly Guy is our favorite in the house. My daughter has collection of Fly Guy books. Really funny, colorful, big letter books. My daughter is in chapter level but still collecting Fly Guy. I'm recommending to buy this book

This is the first book my son ever read to me cover to cover. He was 6 (in kindergarten). He's 7 now and still loves these books. We are trying to collect them all and we bought this one as a gift for a friend who is 4. These are easy chapter books with pictures. Funny stories for kids and adults to enjoy together.

My 6 yr old son was introduced to these books at his 6th birthday party. He loves them. Such an adorable series about a boy and his pet fly. In this particular book Buzz and fly Guy go on a field trip with Buzzs' class to where else....a fly swatter factory..LOL...

We home school and use these books as part of our reading out loud time. My son does just fine reading them. I would say they are close to a "Step Into Reading" Level 2. What is great is that it doesn't have the huge level number on the cover so my son feels like he is reading a "real" book. He has severe ADHD and at times seems upset by the level number on those books and even calls similiar books "baby books". My daughter who is 4 also enjoys being read Fly Guy to by her 6 yr old brother.

I have even pre ordered the next Fly Guy book as we have read every single one of them so far from the library. I am so glad we were introduced to these very sweet books. The relationship between the boy and the fly is just so special.

Super Noah loves to read & Fly Guy is one of his absolute favorite characters.

We discovered the Fly Guy series by Tedd Arnold while visiting our local library last year. Super Noah, who was just starting 1st grade, was able to read these books all on his own. Listening to him read, laughing hysterically, it was music to my ears.

And now, a year later, we own every book in the series & Super Noah still loves Fly Guy.

If you are not familiar with the Fly Guy series, it's a super sweet story about a boy named Buzz, Buzz is trying to find himself a new pet. Once Buzz & Fly Guy meet, so begins a beautiful relationship full of adventure & giggles.

A fly as a pet you ask? Well, you will have to read the books to see where that leads (:

Yes, I admit, Superdad & I find ourselves laughing along with Super Noah during reading time.

We too love the Fly Guy series.

I finally broke down and read this as my first Fly Guy book, and I can see what all the buzz is about (yeah, I went there). It was cute and funny. I also liked the addition of chapters for younger kids to feel like they're reading older kid's style books. The vocabulary was perfect for those learning to read.

I like these books because a boy named Buzz has a pet fly named Fly Guy and they go on lots of adventures that are fun. This time they went on a school field trip to a flyswatter factory and they did not like that! When they went inside things went crazy but in the end it was the best field trip ever!
