About the Author
Thomas Freese is a writer, storyteller and author. He currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky. Thomas Freese is also a counselor and expressive therapist. Thomas has written over 90 articles, since 1998, for Lexington's Chevy Chaser and Southsider Magazines. His monthly feature is called "Day Trips", and highlights fun and intriguing local travel destinations. Thomas employs his own photographic talents in his articles and books. He illustrated another author's book, Shirley Hayden-Whitley's Sometimes Life Ain't Sweet You Know, (1994). His first book, Shaker Ghost Stories from Pleasant Hill, KY, was published in 2005. He followed Shaker Ghosts with Fog Swirler and 11 Other Ghost Stories, (2006). Thomas is completing his third book, Ghosts, Spirits and Angels. Thomas Freese has entertained audiences as a storyteller. He has told tales in libraries, story festivals, museums, and bookstores, using animated voices from his collection of accents and characters. He plays guitar and harmonica, creating wonderful original songs, such as "Whatja Gonna Do With a Silly Kitty?", "All in My Head", "Porquois Song", "Lost Shoe Blues", "Stuffed Animal" and more. His story programs include Porquois Tales, Ghost Stories, Silly Tales and Songs, World Folktales, Fairy Tales, Winter Tales, Origami Stories, Star Tales (Constellations) and Urban Legends.
