I purchased this paint to coat an outdoor metal dining table. I wanted something easy to use (it was) and came in a small container (8oz) because I hate having cans of paint stored in the house and garage. I prepared the table by steel wooling the entire top {which was the most weathered) then washing to get any residue off. This paint is THICK as many reviewers have mentioned and I thought I could get by with one coat. I applied it with a sponge brush and put on a thick coat. When it dried there were many streaks and gray spots. I applied a second coat which helped. I am still not totally happy with it but it is 100% better than it was when I started.
