Cat was being a Good Samaritan when she helped out a man (Hunter Zane) who was hit and ran by a truck. Her good deeds were on a roll as she further helped Hunter with his company's holiday party and helped bring him to the doctor for checkup. Was Hunter Zane worth all the troubles she'd been to? Will she ever find love again after so many heartaches?
I love how this short story was on point and fast paced. It isn;t melodramatic, but it is full of heart and compassion. I like Cat so much, she's got a good head on her shoulders and I loved her even more when she helped out a boy with his Transformer. Hunter Zane on the other hand, was a great man and a really good catch for Cat. I love how they fit each other's puzzles and how easily they got compatible with each other. The whole story got me going for a good one and half hour and all the positive vibes put me to a good mood. Thumbs up!
This book is the perfect holiday read. It's sweet with great characters and a lovely story. It can be read in a single sitting.
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
Cat never made it to the function where her best friend hoped to introduce her to the ‘Dear Santa’ daddy though, because Cat was the only witness to a terrible accident and she had to help the man who was hurt by the car collision. With no one around to help and no access to a working phone, Cat took the wounded man to a hospital to be looked over. She stayed to report to the police what had happened and make sure that the man she rescued was going to be okay. She also left her number for the stranger in case he needed anything further in the future. Although she had not expected to hear from him again, she was happy to help when he called to request a ride as his vehicle was destroyed and no one else was available to help him.
When Cat returned to the hospital she was amazed by how attractive this man, whom she found out was named Hunter, was and that he was also, unfortunately for her, married by evidence of his wedding ring. Despite him being unavailable she liked him as a person and was happy to do him a favor. As it turned out Hunter was not married anymore as his wife had passed away but he still wore the wedding ring because he was not ready to move on. It must have just been that he had not met the right woman because as he and Cat got to know each other he began to feel that maybe he wanted more. As the twists and turns kept coming both Cat and Hunter had to decide if what they both had begun to feel was real or if it was just a part of the holiday magic that was all around them.
Follow the Snowflakes was a very complete and cute story for a novella. I enjoyed the romance but I loved the positive relationships that I saw in this story. Cat cracked me up throughout the story and I think she had a great outlook about the situations she found herself in. There was also a little bit of humor mixed in with the romance and I liked all the characters that were in this charming story. If you are looking for a holiday romance that is sweet, delightful, and with a few twists then I would highly recommend Follow the Snowflakes to you.
This review is based on a complimentary book I received from Angelina Kerner, Author. It is an honest and voluntary review. The complimentary receipt of it in no way affected my review or rating.
Regina tries to setup Cat but things fall through on Cat’s end. But on the way home, Cat witnesses a hit and run and helps a clearly sick man to the hospital. They form a sweet friendship and Cat is very interested in Hunter but he has a wife and Cat was just badly burned with her last boyfriend.
This is the sweetest little Christmas story. It could easily be a Hallmark Christmas movie. Cat is sweet and gets a bad deal with her now former boyfriend. But she stumbles upon Hunter and starts falling for him. But Hunter has his own story, including the sweetest little bow, Lawrence.
This is the perfect little read that will leave you warm and fuzzy and ready for Christmas.
I received Follow the Snowflakes from Reads &Reels Book Tours for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.
This is a cute sweet Christmas tale. About heartbreak and loss and moving on. I enjoyed the characters and although seemed rushed in spots overall it was a nice story. I will warn there is no love scenes but perhaps a kiss or 2. I would have liked more about the characters and further development. Maybe at some point the author will expand the story and include a little more at a later date. Cat's best friend Regina was interesting. I have to admit I didnt particularly like the Journalistic way it was written. Writing books like a journal can make it hard to follow sometimes and that was the case here. If I am honest I dont like that particular style. This book doesnt release for a couple more weeks and I am curious what others think who've read it.

I would have liked it to be longer because I adored the characters and how they come together during Christmas...Read more
