Oddly enough, this does help me decide what to make for dinner. Cardstock feels a little thin; I'd try not to subject it to intensive shuffling on a daily basis. Perfect for the hilarious point it serves, and I really truly enjoyed the history included with the cards.

Love love love this set it's super cute, but please be aware that it's not " backwards compatible " with normal tarot cards, it's NOT just food themed, it's food cards.
I don't have an issue with it, and I'm definitely not complaining but I just want to make sure everyone else knows!

This deck is very funny, and definitely creates some interesting meal combos. 100% recommend for anyone whose family can never come up with what they want to eat - they'll figure out in a hurry once you've used this a few times.

First things first: If you buy this item expecting a close 1-to-1 connection between the cards and the orthodox Rider-Waite-Smith deck (and its card meanings)--like I did--you are misinformed. While this deck does have 78 cards, and the usual arrangement of trumps, suits, aces, pips, and the court, the resemblance to RWS ends there. The LWB focuses on interpreting these cards in a food context, and thus don't provide "card meanings" as such. However, what meanings I could intuit out (or just guess) did not match the RWS meanings. Which is fine! It doesn't have to match. However, that fact would make this deck harder to use for RWS traditionalists and new readers. Keep that in mind. Otherwise, it's a great deck. The art is engaging and the foods chosen are well-thought-out. I highly recommend this seller.
