I love Food Network Magazine so I was super excited when I saw this cook book was coming out. I knew I had to add it to my collection. I just received it today and could not be happier.
I have to admit I'm a sucker for cookbooks with pictures. This one does not disappoint. There is a picture for every recipe. I'm excited to try the recipes!

I've subscribed to food network magazine since they put out the first issue. All my magazines are folded and splattered and just plain used and abused. Now i have a great collection of the recipes, not all but a bunch of them in one place. I love it. I think that they are easy and made with ingredients that aren't hard to find. I really enjoy this cookbook and recommend it to anyone who loves food network, FN Magazine. Or any of the great chefs that are apart of FN.

I can't say enough good things about Food Network Magazine. I've been subscribing for nearly two years just so I can get my hands on the Weeknight Cooking section. I had been pondering the idea of cutting the sections out of my overgrown collection of FNM's but now I don't have to. SO SO happy they've turned this helpful and delicious magazine section into ONE handy cookbook!! Thanks so much to the folks there!

First, it was a network, then it was a magazine and well, what's the next step? A cookbook, of course. No worries, despite it massive popularity, the Food Network (magazine) has actually delivered a handy, really usable, cookbook to satisfy all those readers who (according to the book at least) are emailing the magazine like mad for easy to make dinner recipes. (It helps to have a cable network, we suppose.) In any event, the book is filled with 250 single page with accompanying full color photo pages of each scrumptious looking recipe and while the meals look `easy', they are also sophisticated enough to keep people entertained beyond the run of the mill fare. Using the basic staples - beef, fish, chicken - the book's value comes in the accoutrements that accompany each dish - a salad, a garnish or a few, carefully selected ingredients that top of an otherwise predictable dish. If pictures and ease of use are what make a good cookbook these days, the Food Network magazine's "Great Easy Meals" delivers. Now, if this book was turned into a home video, even better.

I bought this book when I realized it had a bunch of the same recipes I had clipped from the magazine and used over and over. So far I've made two great new dinner recipes out of it and I've vowed to cook my way through it instead of buying more and more magazines! The recipes are quick, use common ingredients and have not disappointed in terms of taste. I like how there are a few slow cooker recipes in here, as well as ones that you might want to spend a little more time on over the weekend. Thanks Food Network Magazine!

I love this cookbook. I make meals out of it all the time (more than any other cookbook I have). Why? Because I get home late in the evening and want to make fresh, tasty food without taking a lot of time AND without dirtying a lot of dishes/utensils. This is the book for me (and if you're like me, then the book for you too).

Borrowed from the library first...took one day before we realized we needed to add this to our cookbook collection. Great ideas for sides and desserts to accompany the quick and easy entrees, useful photo-indexing, complete metric charts, FABULOUS photography throughout, and interesting product picks ("secrets") for enhancing recipes. You'll turn to this again and again; we still haven't put it in the cookbook bookcase(s); it stays out in the kitchen, within easy reach. This is a true "keeper" you won't be disappointed

My husband bought this book about 2 months ago & we have tried recipes almost every night since...even while camping. All of the recipes have been delicious. We love the mix of fresh ingredients (especially since we have a large garden), yet nothing is complicated. This book helps to have an amazingly quick, delicious dinner! It is definitely our favorite and inspirational meal planning source. I will be giving this book as gifts to the food lovers I know. To be completely honest, I have found a few errors in the instructions, but nothing serious.
