Editorial Reviews
Review
This book is the perfect travel companion for those who want to eat their way through Emilia Romagna. But it's so much more than just an informational guide: it's for any food and wine lover who wants a deeper understanding about Italian products. You can practically taste the delicately sliced tartufo and ricotta-stuffed cappelletti through the pages!
- Annette White, Chef and Owner of Sugo Trattoria and Author of "Bucket List Adventures"
I met Amber (and her husband, Eric) during their second "official" visit to Emilia Romagna--the visit that made them fall in love with the region and the food here. I honestly have never met someone that is not from the region who is as passionate about the food and wine as Amber. The fact that she truly cares about every single detail of her food and wine discoveries is a guarantee that what you read in this book will be the best way for you to go and experience Emilia Romagna to the fullest!
- Nick Montemaggi, iambassador and #EuroFoodTrip campaign
"The bible to discovering Emilia Romagna through food and wine!"
- Nelson Carvalheiro, Author of "The Portuguese Travel Cookbook"
This is the essential guide book for anyone going to Emilia Romagna, but especially a food and wine focused traveller. I only wish I had a book like this before my first visit to Emilia Romagna. This book is all you need to make your trip a perfect one.
- Akasha Richmond, Restauranteur, chef, and owner of AR Cucina, Los Angeles
I was hooked on this book from the beginning. What I thought would be merely a food and wine book became a complete experience for all my senses: I could smell the Parmigiano cheese, taste the balsamic vinegar, and feel the passion of the people. If food was a religion, Amber would be the bishop--she seems to know every detail of every single corner of Emilia Romagna's gastronomy, then spreads it on the pages of this book with professionalism, personal opinions, and love. I have been to Emilia Romagna on several occasions, but now I can't wait to return to discover it from a completely different angle.

Don't rely on this book as a guidebook, however. The author does provide places to try the foods and drinks mentioned, but those suggestions are very limited. We found it most useful as a learning tool that then equipped us to better appreciate what we were tasting once we found vendors and producers of the delicious foods the book tipped us off about!
