I use them to freeze steaks and chicken. I froze a NY Strip steak July4th and ate it this month which is September. The steak was as good as the day I sealed it in the Food Save Vacuum Bag. These bags will protect your meat up to two years. but, I have never waited more than 4 months to eat the chicken or steak that I have frozen.
