I've now replaced these with a new set of Softspikes Pulsars and the 'light, soft, ride' while walking has returned to these shoes. It is very noticeable, and I and my knees prefer it to the harsh ride that these CHAMP Scorpion Stinger spikes provide.
Played on a dry but muddy day here in Portland, Oregon and the spikes were great. Great grip going up and down hills with the only slippage happening in areas where my soccer cleats also would have slipped. I forgot how important having proper spikes were to the game of golf and the power transfer that starts at your feet with each swing. If you have a Tri-Lok shoe these will not disappoint and in my case, may exceed your expectations.
I've had them in a couple of weeks, one full round of golf, a few trips to the range and some practice pitching and in the sand. They hold well everywhere and the fastlock shows I have hold them perfectly (my shoes are callaway). I don't think I'm in danger of slipping.
They do have some minor down points. The mark greens more than my old cleats, which were softspikes, and they are not at all comfortable walking on hard ground or cart paths. I find myself walking on the grass next to the path most of the time, when I didn't have to worry about that with the old spikes. That said, they are very grippy, and don't affect my swing at all. I am certain I won't slip, even on a difficult lie with wet grass.
