Example one: A technique with several steps is better illustrated with more than one picture. There are a few times where this is done, but many more where a second picture could have made the move clearer for a reader who didn't already know how to perform it. This is especially true when 'right' and 'left' get murky ('to the right of the opponent' is not the same as 'to the opponent's right').
Example two: A few techniques were illustrated with multiple frames captured from video. The pictures were so blurry/pixelated as to be completely useless.
Example three: Maybe I'm just a detail person, but to me there is no excuse for 'at this stage in my carrier' ('career'--twice in one paragraph) or for a defender 'moving passed a blocker' ('past'--over and over and over) and a football book should know it's not a 'touch down' but a 'touchdown' (though this was only once out of numerous uses).
Example four: 'Simply' do A; then do B, then do C 'relentlessly' got old after a while.
On the positive side, techniques are broken down to a very basic level, and a few drills are included for each position. I can believe the author knows his subject inside and out, and probably played with great passion and intensity, which he would like the reader to develop as well.
