While the anecdotes, stories, terminology (defensive quarterback?) and proposed equipment (mimeograph?) to use are quite dated, the game is not much different than it was back then. Players still give the same tip-offs, coaches still develop tendencies, and scouts still forget that they aren't there to "watch" a football game.
Definitely a book to keep on the shelf.
If you really want to take away information and become a better scout, this is the book for you. But as I said you need to study it. Take notes, underline, and reread passages as you need to.
