I was afraid to buy this, seeing people complaining about writing on the paper. But, I have had no bleed through, and a plain ball point pen works great on it. No smeaing. No issues. Also, you can fold the journal back without damaging pages which helps me out a lot, too.

I love this journal. It is the nicest one I have ever owned and I might be ordering another for when this one is filled because with MY luck, it might not be there when I want another. (Why is it the stores always discontinue my favorite flavors/scents/brands?)

I got this journal as a Christmas present for my aunt. I partnered it with a wax burner plugin that has the same story and similar design on it. My aunt is a very religious woman and so receiving a foot prints in the sand Journal as well as wax burner on Christmas was a very fitting gift. I know that this journal will get a lot of use out of her and that she is very thankful for it. She has only recently married into the family and I know she has felt slightly excluded. I'm hoping that this journal was a gift that made her feel more included in our holiday. The cover of the journal is hard and the paper is of good quality. This purchase is definitely one I would have made again.
