WOW...holy cow WOW!! So very glad I bought this set!! Charlene Penticton and Clayton Ellison have known each other since Charlene was born. Clayton was one of her father's closest friends since they went to college together. Charlene was raised by her father, they went everywhere together. If he traveled abroad for business, Mr Penticton took his daughter with him, to share the travel and tourist experiences with. Charlene is growing into a poised and graceful young woman. Then at 16, she confides to her father about her first crush...Clayton Ellison. Mr Penticton knows Clayton's darkest secrets. Mr Penticton ends his friendship with Clayton, trying to protect his daughter, as he always has. Never giving Clayton a chance to be anywhere near his daughter. Both men miss the friendship, but completely understand why it ends.

Circumstances bring Charlene and Clayton together again,. They walk and chat together, a comfortable ease is obvious between them. When they are together, just the two of them, what will happen? Will 10 years have dampened Charlene's feelings for Clayton? Can Clayton share his darkest secrets with Charlene, without her bolting? They are each very strong independent people. This book is written in dual points of view, which helps you to get to know and understand Charlene and Clayton well.This is an emotional, surprising, tender, dynamic, hot as blazes story that is unique. It's so well written and is fast paced and very enjoyable. I laughed out loud at various times while reading this. But as I've mentioned before, I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor. I could feel Charlene's hesitation and worry at times. That made me laugh a nervous laugh, as I could feel and understand her feelings. Plus my twisted sense of humor. When the real shocker came, I wasn't prepared for it, even though I suspected the right person.

These are all well done characters and plot. Even though I have KU, I'm glad I bought this multi book set! I think you'll like it as much as I did. Indulge in these stories, so glad I did!

Part one-
Old feelings come forward at a hard time and awkward place.

Part two—
It’s was okay I don’t go for the girl on girl action, that happened a few times at the party Clayton hosted. Was it a test for Charlene to see if she could be with another or to expand her sexual activity. Clayton got a shocking reaction and new emotions he never had before....

Part 3-
The final one that wraps up this series. HEA, I had certain things already figured out before they even came to play. Clayton takes Charleen to a swingers party and a certain lady from book 2 is back and has choice words for Charleen about Clayton. Also said women did something horrible beside what she said.

With a few added snippets of Muriel and after the fact for Sarah.

This could have been a better story. I was very slow and seemed to drag on. I wouldn't recommend to anyone that doesn't enjoy slow moving, dragged out books. It could have been a good story.

I story about loss and love found in the person you least expects and the slight taboo of the age difference between Clayton and Charleen. If you like a quick read with lots of hot scenes containing BDSM and pure love that doesn’t adhere to the social norm in regards to age, then you should absolutely grab this one, it has it all and brings a smile to your lips.
