Adalyn comes to aster lake with a little mystery and meets mad I her new friend who you will totally adore And of course Rudd her love interest.she has some interesting people you immediately want to know more about.
Hopefully in this series we will get to know them

Well,I always think that you get enough information from the blurb anything more ruins it ,at least for me it does.I want to find out for myself.

It's a great book a joy to read and after you read this series read her four season series it's a good series as well.
And leave a honest review it helps the author.💖

Forever My Home is the first book I've read by Alora Kate. When I was offered the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review, I downloaded the sample on Amazon first, to see if I thought I would like it. Well, that sample had me hooked! It's a book you don't want to put down.

For me, this book is just the right mix of romance, suspense, and even a little comedy. The beginning starts off suspenseful, and I found myself very curious to find out why Adalyn was having to start her life over somewhere new. Things calm down for a little while as Adalyn settles herself into a small town with a lake, surrounded by mountains. However, the suspense picks back up later and then I was in for a bit of an emotional roller-coaster ride.

Wow. What a cast of characters! I love them all and they are very well-written. Adalyn is one of the main characters and the story is centered around her and Rudd. Margie, Madi, and Bailey are probably my top three side characters. Also, I have to say that I love Madi so much! She is Adalyn's new friend and she is so funny. I was really excited to see that the next book in this series will be about her. Yay!

The story is told from both Adalyn and Rudd's point of view, which worked really well for me. Plus, Adalyn's point of view was the only one in first person. It was a little different, but between that and the clearly marked transitions, it helped me keep it straight.

There were some grammatical hiccups that disrupted my reading, but it wasn't excessive. All in all, this is a wonderful story. I look forward to the next book in The Aster Lake series!

*Please note that I did receive a gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. It didn't alter my opinion of the book in any way.

Enjoyable mystery romance. Easy to follow storyline. Believable characters with distinct personalities. Entertaining dialogue.

This is not a hard facts, fear driven mystery. The romance is not filled with drag-you-down drama.

Book 1 is a stand-alone.

No desire to re-read this story. I am interested in other works by this author.

I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I had read Alora Kate's Four Season's series (which I adored) and could not wait to read this new series. This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I could not put it down, the characters were great and I just wanted to keep reading so that I could see what was going to happen to them. I loved this story and all the characters, I can't wait to read more of The Aster Lake Series.

I was given this as an ARC for an honest review. When I read the by line for this book I was highly interested. It was different and to be honest I couldn't put it down. You meet Adalyn with her parents telling her she has to leave. All they will tell her it's best for her safety and they give her a few words of wisdom. Next you see Adalyn and she's found a home in a new small town miles away from where she started. She's doing exactly like her parents told her to. She has no clue but she trust her parents so this is a mystery for her as well as for the reader. I really enjoyed the start of the book and toward the middle the mystery of her past got pushed in the background as Rudd and her relationship take off. He has a few changes in his life that take the spotlight and her past is only mention a few places. The ending was quick and wrapped everything up nicely however I just felt it was too quick. However, I would recommend this as an enjoyable read with a light hearted mystery.

This book intrigued me from the blurb so I was looking forward to it. The initial premise of this book is very interesting and I couldn’t put it down.

It then led into Adalyn meeting Madi and moving into a new town in the middle of the country, miles away from the home she has always known. She knows that there is history with her parents and that they are hiding something from her but she doesn’t know what it is.

I did enjoy the start of this book but as it got into the middle and her meeting Rudd and bonding with him. It felt like the initial reason she moved to the town and her background was pushed to one side.
I did love seeing her bond with Rudd and Bailey… but the resolution of what led her to the town in the first place came a bit too late for me.

However I did enjoy this book and I will be reading the next one, whenever it releases.
