The sex is hot!!!! (I can't put enough exclamation marks on it!) But what got me is the way the author brings out the emotions the two men felt for each other. Great story telling and passionate love scenes makes this a sure winner for me!
The love scenes are scorching but tender, and the dialogue between Josh and Will believable as Josh fights against falling for Will when he discovers that Will is a millionaire.
The story had me turning the pages to the happy ending. A must read for all M/M romance fans.
Insta-love is one of my favourite reads and this short, sweet but sexy little offering was just so easy to read.
Can two men, both still in the closest to the intruding world and whose lifestyles are so vastly different, find mutual ground to build a everlasting relationship?
Will and Josh were just perfect for each other and though they met whilst at college, only one of them remembers, now I would have loved more on that from the author when they do start seeing each other but it’s only short, so I’m going to forgive her.
Yet again this author offered up something different and one of the reasons I like her books, you never really know what you are going to get until you start reading. Of course this is Elodie Parkes and I think her trade mark should be Queen of Stalkerism, she can’t help herself and even here in this sweet little treat, their was a hint of it breaking through, which made me smile and wonder what she is going to surprise us with next?
Due to length, it’s 4* from me and if you are looking for a little quickie with a music based theme, look no further, you’ve just found it.
I was given the ARC for an honest review which I gave.
Will is a millionaire of his own making. This is a man who built himself up from nothing and deserves everything he has. He’s also beyond sweet, kind, and giving.
Josh is in a band. He’s stubborn, talented, searching for love, and quite guarded.
I have to say that in the beginning when we were following Will and seeing that he’s loved Josh from afar for years, well, it got a little creepy. I admire his loyalty to Josh and the love he has but he pretty much obsessed over him for a very long time. Blog reading, traveling to all his concerts. He knows so much about him and I found it went to a very psychologically dangerous zone.
Josh, for all his awesomeness, really was hard on Will for no reason at all. He pretty much saw Will as a millionaire and kind of punished him for it. There was no bases for it and I did find it to be a little harsh.
Though I had issues with how these two began this relationship I can say they are positively devoted to one another.
Iike I said, it’s a quick, fluffy story if at times frustrating.
From afar, Will Trenton lost his heart to Josh when he first set eyes on him, at college. Now a wealthy CEO, he continues to follow Josh’s career. Josh, the lead singer in a relatively successful Indy band, has noticed the man following them for years. When they finally meet face to face, sparks fly and clothes are ripped off. But Will’s money and good intentions come between them.
A Forever Kind Of Thing is a story built on sexual desire turning to love, and as such, sex takes centre stage. As with many men, that extra appendage between the thighs has to be satisfied before rational thought can claim lordship over the body. In this story, money is the bad guy and doesn’t help make their relationship easier. I truly felt for Will but could also understand Josh’s views, even though they were occasionally a touch sharp.
It is a sweet tale of two men overcoming obstacles to make something special work. If you’re after a read to settle by the fire to with a cuppa and a biscuit, this will do the trick.
