Two men cuddling in bed, clothed. Kind of a gradual washed out or faded effect from top to bottom. Title font is strong. Text color was smart. Synopsis is intriguing.

Alternating first-person POV, clearly defined and easy to follow.
Matt moved across country, from Seattle, to reunite with his twin sister in NYC, who moved out east only months before. Orphaned as pre-teens, the twins are even more close than other siblings. She lined up several prospective jobs before he arrived and he jumped at the chance to work as the receptionist at a mechanic's garage.
Co-owner, Ben, first saw Matt initial and thought "pretty boy", but quickly learned and felt differently. Matt left a tantalizing impression on him that he could not seem to shake. I'm normally not a big first-time gay or GFY fan, but I really did enjoy this story. The fact that Ben was gobsmacked by his attraction to Matt and was mature enough not to jump onto the offensive to play the denial card was very attractive in a person. He recognized and addressed the matter head-on. Bravo!
They had a fast and furious chemistry. Dialogue and interactions were enjoyable. Annie was great. The plot was very good for a quick read /novella, it had plenty content: a small cast of secondaries, internal and external conflicts, some minor "surprises", and good resolve. The reason I add quote marks to the surprises is because I'd suspected the root of them and the truths right away, so they were not so surprising to me. The conclusion is solid and satisfying with a flash-forward style epilogue that covered all the bases.
Overall, this was a great quick read & would suggest it to others.

While I enjoyed the book and the chemistry between the characters, the story felt very rushed and at times - unrealistic.
I hoped as the story progressed the author would give us more. Develop the characters and their struggles more. Both Ben and Micheal forgive way too easily. And while they faced some trials I feel like the author minimized them.
Giving it 3.5 stars because it's still enjoyable but has so much more potential.
