The premise behind the book though is this woman who gets offered this job and goes to start a new life in a new place that she had never been too, or had she. You learn all about this woman and the people in her life and you begin to wonder what is the big secret here and why was the life she knew a lie. I did feel like there were parts of her history that needed more explanation, but it was still a great book and it took some assuming and reading between the lines.
I cannot wait to read the next books about this town and I hope they incorporate the people that you learn about in other people's books so that way it really feels like a little town in the mountains of Colorado.
Until Next Time... Tabi
Like all of her books I truly enjoyed reading this. It was well done with characters that were developed and captured my attention. I cared about Michaela and wanted things to work out for her and Alexander.
Unlike her other books, I wasn't left wanting more. Perhaps this is because the book was shorter so I didn't have enough time to become too invested in the characters. However, I have read other novella that fell short and this one certainly didn't. Although short it was a complete story that left me satisfied.
With a somewhat open ending there is room for more and I understand there will be more, just not by this author. That being said, I look forward sampling more about Havenwood Falls and its colorful characters from these other authors. Definitely a recommended read.
I really enjoyed this book. Keala is stronger than she knows and that is a good things since she has to deal with so much so very fast. Can't wait to see what comes next for her and the families.
