Gary Sherman captures some of the beauty, appeal, and dangers of the Alaskan wilderness. The book was recommeded to me by Gary’s sister who I met while on a cruise along the Alaskan coast. I thank her for her recommendation and I recommend the book to anyone interested in learning about life on the Alaskan frontier.
path it was going to take. With that said, it was still a great read. I felt that scenes
and characters portrayed were easily identifiable. It's a great story of chasing a
dream and hitting rock bottom only to bounce back stronger and more determined.
I could easily relate to each of the characters and in most cases, probably reminds
the reader of someone we actually know in modern day. From those stuck in a stale
relationship to the spoiled rich kid next door, this book easily brings to life those who
are in it. After reading several Alaskan murder mysteries, this was a more down to
earth, could be realistic, adventure that keeps you entertained from beginning to end.
