Forgiveness is a worthwhile topic, one sorely needed in the modern world, and Enright and Fitzgibbons offer an important perspective on it in their latest book. It is not the only approach, but it is an insightful one and deserves attention of both researchers and clinicians. Reading their book makes one think, and given the significance of the subject matter, that is valuable indeed. --PsycCRITIQUES

"Forgiveness Therapy" is far more than an updated version of its predecessor. It includes more research documentation, more case studies, more practical how-to-do-it exercises, and--most important to me--more measurement techniques so I have a practical way to assess the value of my efforts.
This book is a "must-have" for any clinician who is already using Forgiveness Therapy or any clinician who wants to integrate Forgiveness Therapy into his or her practice. Forgiveness Therapy is not only a unique and effective methodology, it now is apparently sanctioned by the American Psychological Association which published the book. That means Forgiveness Therapy has rightfully taken its place alongside such historically-accepted therapies as Psychoanalysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Best of all, I don't even need any measurement tools to know that it works!
