Pros -
1) Adds to our knowledge of more counterfeit coins circulating in North America than were previously published.
2) Adds much needed metallurgical information for various counterfeit coins.
Cons -
1) Incomplete in recording all varieties from a multitude of series. Rather it just reports newly discovered/reported varieties from those various, albeit limited number of series of counterfeit coins.
2) As others have said, this book could use a massive overhaul in editing, punctuation, and overall understanding of context. Fewer run-on sentences. Skips around from 1st to 3rd person, which makes understanding confusing.
3) Images. Photos should have been consistent in their quality, while emphasizing high-quality photos as much as possible. Photos should be sharp, whereas most are quite blurry, and difficult to discern. Images should be properly, and consistently cropped.
Overall, if you find my pros beneficial to your numismatic interests, then this book is for you. But if you find the cons too adverse then I would pass.
