I purchased the 8-speed and am so happy. The order confirmation (and also the title as I post this review) both said single speed but I contacted the seller and they confirmed I would receive the 8-speed. This bike is wonderful all-around and the theft-resistant screws are just an added bonus. I was going to order it through the website but went with Amazon due to the free installation, which I am so thankful for. If I had assembled it myself I probably would have had to go to a bike shop for some adjustments.
Components I purchased and added are two Ibera Bicylce Bags (one is attached in the photo) PakRak with quick release, Axiom Adirondack handlebar bag, Ibera PakRak Bicycle Touring Carrier Plus+, SIGTUNA Bike lock - 16mm, and Velo Orange 700c Hammered Alloy Fender Set (black color). I purchased the fortified bicycle lights, which were junk, and had to send them back.
