Fossil Men's CH2573 Black silicon Strap Black Analog Dial Chronograph Watch
Fossil is an American lifestyle brand, creatively rooted in authentic vintage and classic design. Since 1984, the company strives to create high-quality products that preserve the best of the past while updating it for today’s consumer. From iconic inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s to innovative mid-century architecture, the brand’s unique style reflects the best of what it stands for: bags that pair portability with streamlined design, traditional watches created in fresh hues and materials, and timeless clothes and accessories.
The Decker Collection
One of our sportiest collections, the Decker encapsulates the heart of athleticism with chronograph dials and stoppers. Its glitzy top ring and indexes contradict this sporty aesthetic, giving Decker the ultimate boy-meets-girl styling.
Fossil Watch Tin
Each Fossil watch comes in a complementary watch tin. Inspired by colorful tins of the 1940s and 1950s, Fossil set out to create its own packaging that people would want to keep and treasure, while still expressing the iconic creativity of the brand. The Fossil watch tin served as a natural extension of the earliest vintage-inspired watch designs, not only in form but also in its ability to deliver the authentic look and feel of the same period.
The CH2573 Analog Chronograph Watch from Fossil is the perfect way to stay punctual. From timeless classics to the latest fashions, Fossil is sure to have the timepiece that perfectly compliments your unique sense of style. Founded in 1984 when timepieces were created more for function than fashion, Fossil began to transform this notion with its unique combination of vintage 1950s Americana design and affordably accessible cool style. Adding to their collectability were the one-of-a-kind, trademark tins that came with the watches that mixed a creative spirit with a sense of humor. These iconic boxes are nearly as popular as the watches they hold and are regularly collected and traded throughout the world at flea markets, antique shops, and on eBay.
Today, Fossil produces over 300 different styles of watches in a continuously changing lineup. While the majority of designs are created by in-house designers, Fossil has reached out to such contemporary artisans as product designer Philip Starck and famed architect Frank Gehry (designer of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain) to create uniquely modern timepieces. In addition to style innovations, Fossil has also helped introduce innovative technologies into watches, such as the Wrist PDA that ran the Palm operating system. Fossil also offers complementary lines of small leather goods, belts, handbags, sunglasses, jewelry and apparel.
A sleek, stylish and dependable watch, the Fossil Men's Black Silicon Strap Black Analog Dial Chronograph Watch is a great timepiece to have in your regular rotation. It boasts a nice 42.5mm stainless steel case with a black bezel that features a white tachymeter scale on its top face. The right side of the case features two stainless steel pushers and a prominent crown. The elements cradle a black dial, which is protected by a mineral crystal and emblazoned with white second markers, luminous index hour markers and luminous hands, which are powered by quartz movement. There are also three chronograph sub-dials and a date display window at the 4 'o clock position. The watch's black silicone band with contrast stitching straps this watch to the wrist, while a stylish buckle clasp makes sure it stays there. Finally, this watch offers water resistance up to 330 feet (100 meters).See all Product description

The stop watch is a cool feature and that is what the chronographs are on the face. The top dial (12 o'clock) is 1/10ths of a second, the 9 o'clock is the minutes and the 6 o'clock chronograph is the seconds timer. The band looks great and if you sweat a lot like I do, it can be easily washed and won't absorb odor like a leather band would. Tachymeter is useless unless you had a 1 mile section of runway, road or ocean marked off so you could calculate speed. If you are going less than 60 mph, it won't work either.
The reason for the 4 stars is the hands and markings don't glow in the dark very well. I had this watch "charging" in the direct sunlight for hours. When I got back home and when through the laundry room where it was pitch black, I could barely see the hands and markings on the watch. With all of its cool features, I would think that the glow in the dark hands would show up a little better.
I can't afford a Tag or a Breitling, but this watch is very cool and not to over the top, but doesn't look cheap either.
I have a smaller wrist and this watch is still okay. If you like small faces, not for you. But the watch isn't comically large on a small wrist. It feels sturdy and solid--well built. And the strap is great. It works for both casual and formal; I can definitely wear it with a suit or I can wear it with jeans and polo or t-shirt.
Fossil has it repaired each time but charges shipping & handling. I have paid over $30 in shipping having the watch fixed and now it has failed again (August 2017).
I don't think I will have it fixed again. Good looking watch but poorly made.
